Dr. Marc Edelstein is a highly acclaimed Gastroenterologist and is recognized as an expert in the diagnosis and treatment of digestive disorders and the performance of endoscopic procedures. He founded Beverly Hills Gastroenterology in 2003 to meet his goal of providing the best possible adult and pediatric GI care in one cutting-edge practice.
Dr. Edelstein earned his Bachelor’s Degree and Doctorate in Medicine at Boston University. He then completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at UCLA Medical Center, followed by his fellowship in Gastroenterology also at UCLA Medical Center. UCLA is consistently rated one of America’s best hospitals (#3 in the country) and it ranks #5 in the United States for the treatment of gastrointestinal disorders (US News and World Report’s 2009 Best Hospital Rankings).
Dr. Edelstein is a Diplomate of the American Boards of Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. In addition to numerous other professional honors and distinctions, he has been elected a Fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Gastroenterology. Dr. Edelstein has also been elected Clinical Chief of Gastroenterology and to the Board of Governors at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. In 2010, he was appointed Clinical Instructor, UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine. He has served on many local and national professional committees, and is currently the vice president and a member of the Board of Directors of Young Physicians Organization.
